Recent Question to the Neck Pillow Queen:
Why does my neck hurt when I wake up everyday?
It never hurt until fairly recently, and it's only the right side, never the left side. I sleep on both of my sides throughout the night, but I was told that I sleep on my right side about 75% of the time. Do I need to change my pillow or something? - NeedtoSleep July 2011
Yes, you may need to change your pillow. Getting the right pillow is very important because you spend 1/3rd of your life sleeping. Here are a few things to consider when choosing the right pillow:
-
size (standard, travel, queen, king)
-
composition (buckwheat, foam, fiber-filled, water, feather, down-filled)
-
design (contoured, flat or adjustable)
-
Firmness ( support- is it firm or soft)
-
your height and weight (get the right size of neck Pillow)
-
your symptoms (pinched nerve in the neck, stomach sleeper, sleep apnea, stiff neck or muscle spasms)
