Should you get a pillow that is firm or should you get a softer one. Most people prefer something right in the middle. The Linear gravity family of pillows fits in this category of medium firmness. This includes the small, medium, and large
gravity pillows as well as the traction pillow. It is also known as the
Cervical Linear Traction Pillow because opposite the traction side is the side with the neck roll only; the linear gravity medium side.
The
tricore pillow family is much more firm. For example, the linear gravity pillows are softer than the tricore gentle pillow. If you like something firm you may want to try the tri-core pillow.
Foam pillows also tend to be more firm.
In the majority of cases, if you're not sure stick with a medium firmness; not too hard, not too soft.
