The biggest reasons I see for people not sleeping good are:
- Drinking and eating too close to bed time - of course what you eat and drink plays a role too, but keeping it simple, don't eat after 7 pm.
- On the same token - Do not exercise right before bed. I know, you gotta get your workout in; set your alarm for an early morning workout, it'll pay off in the long run.
- Lastly, Avoid doing alot of work right before bed. Try to ease your mind down. Leisure reading is a good way to relax before bed. Turn the computer off and put away the papers you took home from the office. You'll be more productive getting a good nights rest and getting up a few minutes earlier.
Try these really simple tricks and I gaurantee a better nights rest!
Your blog is awesome! I spent 3k on a sleep number bed which did nothing for me. I was finally talked into buying a pillow called the "Duo Bed Pillow" with part Buckwheat and part Millet. I lay my head down on this pillow and the filling molds to my neck and I am out like a light! I don't have neck pain anymore or tossy turnys.
