Well we have all seen the commercials (as seen on tv) for the newest pillow on the market: MY Pillow- In the last week I have had 3 customers call me complaining of neck pain, stiff neck, herniated disc and bulging disc. The common thing between all three customers was that they had all tried the "my pillow"- well i was intrigued, to say the least. I have been waiting to hear feedback from what people thought about this pillow. Did it work for them? NO. One customer called it a "crapshoot", another said it "did nothing for her pain". Finally, another customer said it did not provide her with any relief from the numbness and tingling she was having in her arms and hands.
I think that My Pillow may work for some people. But for anyone who suffers from neck pain, stiff neck and symptoms of a radiculopathy (from a herniated disc or bulging disc), this is the not the right pillow for you. Ask any chiropractor, or physcial therapist-they would most likely agree with our reveiw. Consider an orthopedic fiber pillow such as the traction pillow or the linear gravity pillow by arc4life. If you like a firm pillow, consider the tri core family of neck pillows.
I would highly recommend that you purchase a contoured neck pillow, with a proper neck roll that allows for proper alignment in the cervical spine. Especially, if you suffer from any type of neck condition.
Just my two cents. I am sure I will talk to more customers who have purchased My pillow. By the way, My pillow is also a very expensive pillow, ranging in price from $79.95 to $89.95. Furthermore, some customers have stated that the pillow is "loud", and does not wash well.
Regardless of what the Neck Pillow Queen Thinks, My Pillow has now joined the many other neck pillows on the market. Just do your research before deciding which to buy and try.
