When you have neck pain, there are a lot of things you can do.
#1 is to check your pillow.

#2 is to use heat or ice.
Use ice at the end of the day when inflammation has accumulated and/or if you have a more recent neck injury. Ude heat if your hurting neck is more of a chronic condition.

The simplest, yet most effective is lateral head tilts. Gently bring one ear toward that shoulder. Hold for 10-20 seconds. Then repeat.
