I often get the question: "can I put my pillow in the wash?" The answer to that question is "yes", but doing this too many times will break the pillow fibers down.
We don't want to break the fibers down too much. Breaking the fibers down will lead to the pillow losing support. The pillow may start to feel like there's no neck roll left. What I suggest instead of putting the pillow in the washer and dryer, is to gently hand wash it and theb let it air dry.
I have found that it'll just be one area or spot that needs to come out. So if your neck sweats, for example, use a little ivory soap in the area...It works wonders!
One last tip is to simply put the dust cover on the pillow. It has a soft zipper; take it off and throw IT in the wash. Easy to keep your pillows as clean and dust free as possible.
