Arc4life has been in the business of selling neck pillows and pain relief products for over 10 years now, actually since 2003. Over the years we have seen products come and go, some flourish, other get packed up never to be seen again. Not the arc4life traction pillow. This pillow's family members you could say have grown.
We started with just the original medium size. Over the years we have added the large size, extra firm models and now in March of 2015 we have added a small arc4life pillow.
Size matters a whole lot when it comes to choosing a neck pillow. Just because you have a king size bed, does not mean you need to sleep with a large size pillow. Your neck will not be happy in the morning and you sleep will be affected by this.
Rough Guide to Getting the Right Size:
****4 ft to 5'1"- 5'2" and petite frame - choose the small size. Example Mrs.Carmichael of Hoboken NJ recently ordered a pillow. She ordered the small size because she is 5'1 and weighed 120 lbs.
The small is also great for teens, and children. We recently had a mother order a small size pillow for her 3 year old son who weighs 30 lbs.
Finally, the small is also a great travel size pillow. You can actually travel with this pillow in your luggage. The dimensions are 20" x 15". We have a a lot of customers who take this pillow with them on business trips. It can be easily squished down and fits nicely in smaller suitcases.
****5'3" - 5' 11" - choose the medium size. This is what most of the population will order. Mrs.Gill recently ordered this. She is 5'5" and weighs 135 lbs. The medium is perfect for her. Her husband is 5'9, weighs 170 lbs, he also likes the medium size pillow.
If you are a petite framed person but like to use a medium standard size pillow, order the medium size pillow. The dimensions of this pillow are 24"x17".
****6' ft and over - choose the large size. Anybody who is tall and is built like a football player or is lean framed needs to order the large size. For example, Mr. Taglitelle is 6'2" and weighs 220 lbs, he ordered the large and it fit him well.
If you generally like to use a large pillow, which is the case sometimes, get the large pillow. The large pillow is 4" longer than the medium size pillow. The medium pillow is 24"x17" and the large size is 28"x17". Know that the large pillow is going to have more fiber inside and will be poofier (if that's a word) and just generally thicker.
Keep in mind that the larger pillow has two extra inches on both sides. This can be helpful if you like to sleep on your side and like to have a little extra room.
