Stomach sleeping is not generally recommended. Some people fall into this sleeping position somehow and they cannot get out of it. The problem lies in the fact that stomach sleeping can be the cause of neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain and its not good for your organs to be sleeping in this position.
The best way to get out of this is to transition from being a stomach sleeper to a side sleepers. How? Get a specialized pillow for that. My recommendation is the tear drop pillow. The shape is this pillow allows you to place it on your side. You get the torso support and warm under your stomach. You feel like you are sleeping on your stomach, but you are not.
