Today I spoke with the customer who ordered our Arc4life Traction pillow medium size (24"x 17"). She said she laid on the pillow for about an hour and felt that her head was jotting forward and she just could not get comfortable. She mentioned to me that she is 5 ft 7 inches and weighs 125 pounds. Most people would think that the medium standard size pillow would work for this customer. Based on here height and weight it the right size.
But upon speaking to her she said to me that she normally uses smaller sized pillows and also stated that her bone structure is very small. She described her neck smaller and also said that you had her hands are smaller too.
For this particular customer the small pillow will probably work better for this person. That being said she will need to increase the height of the pillow. The way to do that is to put some folded up towels under the pillow to bring up the height. The small arc4life traction pillow is only 20“ x 15“ and the thickness of the pillow is between 1 to 2 inches. The small pillow will work for her well but she needs to make some modifications to use it properly.
We do have a sizing chart on our Arc4life pillow but this is a case that shows that the sizing chart doesn’t work for everyone. That is why it is a good reason to talk to us before ordering a pillow if you feel that you might have some special needs using the pillow thank you.
