Can A Pillow Give you a Headache? YES.....
"The pillow gave me an instant headache. The idea is great, but there the part of the pillow where your neck goes is too high, it puts you in a very unnatural position." - SteelerFan April 2019 (ordered the large size of the arc4life traction pillow)
Dear SteelerFan,
We appreciate your feedback for the arc4life traction neck pillow. We noticed that you purchased the large arc4life traction pillow - this pillow is 28"x17" - and the loft or thickness of this pillow is much more than the medium (24x17) and small(20x15) versions of this pillow. If you purchase a pillow that is too large, the pillow will place your head and neck into a forward head position (causing forward head carriage), which can be the cause of headaches and soreness in the neck muscles.
Your spine should be ideally in a neutral position. Sleeping on a pillow that is the right size will help with that. When your neck is in a high position, it will be an unnatural position, which is not good. My recommendation is to check the sizing chart to see if you ordered the best size for you and 2nd, to use the support side of the pillow, and not the traction v side. Hope this helps you out.
